For most of my young life I was a struggling actor. I appeared on such shows as Mash, WKRP in Cincinnati, and General Hospital. For a short time, I even taught an acting workshop. Back in the mid-seventies I was a recent graduate of the very prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts where I was part of the first graduating class in Los style="font-size:large;">Over the years I wrote many treatments for the various popular shows of the day. I even wrote a few original ideas for TV. But never sold any of them. After volunteering for a unique project to teach drama to inmates of the federal prison at Lompoc, I wrote the first version of INSIDE OUT in 1983. It was to be my "Rocky." But producers of the day where not interested in a story that truthfully depicted prison violence. I turned it into a published novel in 2015, and finished the rewrite of my screenplay in
